What do YOU think Wednesdays: Your Dream Race?

Good humptidy humpday morning! Just 11 more days till LA Marathon~woo~! It is incredible how much calmer I am the second time around. Before my first marathon, I was freaking out hardcore, going through a major slump, and doubting everything. But now that I've already accomplished my goal of running every single step of a marathon, I feel so chill about this one. I'm just plain excited and that is how I like it.

With taper week going on, and having to scale back on the intensity of my workouts, I've had time a-plenty to daydream about my "Dream Races." You know, the races in exotic locations you one day want to race if time/money/work/real life issues (you know, boring sh!t like that) weren't a problem. The March issue of Triathlon Magazine has a list of the "100 Best Races on Earth." Awesome.

While sweating it out on the elliptical, I spent a good 20 minutes going through the list and daydreaming like it was my job. There are so many awesome ones!

Here's my top 5 "Dream Races":
  1. Challenge Copenhagen
    3.8K swim, 180K bike, 42K run
Because that's where my Dad is from!

  2. Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore
    1.9K Swim, 90.1K bike, 21.1K run
Because food in Singapore is the bomb diggity!
  3. Rose Hall Triathlon Jamaica
1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run (shorter option available)
Because man....! Who wouldn't want to go to Jamaica man
  4. Tahiti Nui Triathlon Series
1.5K Swim, 40K bike, 10K run (shorter option available)
Because Tahiti.... is probably just wow.

  5. The Nation's Triathlon
    1.5K Swim, 40K bike, 10K run
Because I've never been to D.C., and it will be cool to run by all the buildings I've learned about
I've actually been to Copenhagen and Singapore before, but it would be sooo awesome to return as an athlete. And as for Jamaica... I mean.... if they play reggae music at all, I'm there!

So what do you think? What are your "Dream Races?"
Can be pure running, biking, swimming, triathlon, or any sort of endurance event!

I hope you have a great great great humpday! And thanks again for reading my little bloggie even though I have not been a good blogger lately! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving comments; I love hearing from you all :)
